I am in the design field and bought a shower system. It arrived damaged, which is not their fault. I have been calling them all week, been on hold for over 30 minutes, and can't reach anyone to help me get a replacement. Horrible customer service. I am writing this post in the hopes that they see it and contact me. Once this is resolved, I will take this post down.
AVOID AT ALL COST!!! I purchased a washer/dryer pedestal form this company and found they did not have a built in drawer. I was looking to exchange these for a more expensive version with drawers but their BS policy will not accept returns/exchange on appliances. First, how is a pedestal considered an appliance!? It's an accessory for an appliance! The product page does not clearly show the item is non-returnable or exchangeable. I do not recommend this company at all!

Currently on the line with Chelsea Gallegos and she is nothing but a head ache. Honestly not sure how she was hired to work. She has no customer service skills, no intentions to help, she knows absolutely nothing and just keeps giving you the run around. Some people need to seek help from a professional psychologist or some therapist. CHELSEY IS NOT FIT FOR THIS JOB.
I needed some help with hardware for commercial glass doors. Tried to chat with someone and after waiting in the queue twice (it froze the first time) I was connected with Marie B. This person did not listen to what I was saying and kept replying with responses that either indicated they were not reading my messages or that it was an automated system. It finally ended with a bunch of links to their website and offer to be a project manager for my "project" (even though I told them I was just looking for some hardware for a set of existing doors). Will never do business with them. If someone wants help beyond just ordering from their website, good luck.
Paid over $500 for a sconce. Ordered in early April and arrived today. Not even the dimensions advertised. Lucky if it is 15" in width. Deceptive marketing-the item is worth under $100. Learn from my mistake-a scam! This business should be investigated-the owners locked-up.
Build.com also known as Build with Ferguson is not a legitimate company. They take your order and your money with no intention of delivering the actual products to you. We spent $696 in March 2021 and never received our order nor our money back. Do not buy from them unless you want to give away free money to a sham operation.
Customer service anytime you tell a paying customer that they’re too busy to speak to you is awful. I have purchased a couple of things from them which was ok. But the customer service is awful they leave you on hold for 45min or longer. They really need to train them to talk and deal with customer problems. Never again
I ordered two Kohler Memoirs sinks, which came with a Memoirs toilet. I ordered in December of 2019 for a new build. As my new home was delayed, I did not open and catch the bait and switch to a cheaper Mansfield toilet.
I left voice msgs, chat msgs and emails all of which were unanswered until the warranty period expired. Then I was told to buy a new toilet to replace the bait and switch item.
I'd like to give 0 stars. Build.com is not reputable.
ordered a dishwasher dec 1 2020. told 8-10 weeks. now 18 weeks and they are still just estimating delivery in 22 weeks. Who knows if they will lie again then. Dont do business with this company. You will regret it.
If I could give zero stars I would. I bought a medicine cabinet for $ 207. It turned out that it’s the wrong size. I initiated a return request 2 weeks later and they’re charging me 150$ for shipping costs!!!! I’m like I’ll pay for shipping you don’t have to, but the fee is still the same.
The item was in great condition and wrapped well when I received it but what kind of business model is this where they make it impossible for you to return??? Stay away.
I purchased 3 Toto Drake toilets from Build.com. I was leary based on the reviews but honestly it was the best experience I have had. The toilet pieces arrived unbroken, perfectly packaged and they always kept me informed as to when I was to receive my next shipment. My take away is: Do not always rely on reviews because you may hear more negative, then postive.
I had nothing but a good experience in purchasing from Build.com. Every item i selected was in stock as stated, may have taken a week or so to get but no issues. I ordered all my fixtures, faucets, cabinets for my bathroom remodel and every item was fine. I would highly recommend purchasing from Build.com.
I have recently ordered over $1600 in merchandise for the first time on Build.com. Everything has been of fine quality and I've received all my items in about a week.
I ordered a Kohler sink. The specs said it possessed a 1 1/4 inch faucet hole. When the sink arrived the sink had a 1 1/8th inch faucet hole. A 1 1/4th inch faucet does not fit 1 1/8th inch hole. Return and or refund - terrible experience. I contacted their 'chat and ask an "expert" and after the 4th person who did not know faucets and sinks had different hole sizes I gave up. Many calls - always we are too busy due to high demand, emails - none of which have been answered. I cannot get the sink replaced or my money back.
I will see if I can obtain the # for their legal office or corporate headquarters.

I don't know how you can actually get them to answer the correct lead time. I received an estimated ship date when I ordered an American Standard faucet. Then, they emailed me 3 more times with delays. I called them after the first delay, and while I was on the phone with the agent, she placed me on hold and called American Standard, and said they told her that there would be no more delays. After this last delay, I called to cancel the order. They said they would "request cancellation" from American Standard. The big problem is they charged my account IMMEDIATELY when I ordered the product, but won't refund the money until American Standard confirms the cancellation. The service agent i spoke with escalated to her supervisor, and the supervisor is the worst person I have ever encountered when dealing with customer service.

Sorry to hear that. What finish were you trying to match?
Usually its best ti use the same brand name when trying to match a finish, such as a Moen faucet to match a Moen towel bar or towel ring.
That is because everybody has their own technique of making their products.
I wonder if the finish on your new American Standard faucet is doesn't match because the other item you're matching in not made by American Standard.
You should be able to return it if it hasn't been installed in any way and you still have the original packaging.
The return items page has complete directions that make it fairly easy to send items back.
